Animal Medical Clinic follows the guidelines of the American Veterinary Medical Association when a request is received to extend a prescription for Internet or Mail Order Pharmacies. Those guidelines are as follows:

A. Dr. Windley will cooperate with extending a prescription to those clients in good standing and whose pet qualifies for a requested RX. Animal medical clinic will also match the price offered by your chosen on-line pharmacy for the products that we provide.

B. In order to qualify for a RX Dr. Windley/Animal Medical Clinic must have an active client/patient relationship, up-to-date vaccinations, fecal exam ( for dispensing of de-wormers), and an annual negative heartworm test (for dispensing of heartworm preventive).

C. On-line pharmacies will traditionally take your order then forward us a request for providing approval of the prescription on pet medications. If the required qualifications are met Dr. Windley will extend a prescription approval via fax.
